The Notorious B.I.G. Was Discovered By Mister Cee
Mister Cee is widely credited as being the man that discovered and helped build the career a young Brooklyn rapper by the name of Christopher Wallace—a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G.
After being introduced by Big’s first DJ, Hitman Fifty Grand, Cee helped develop Big’s demo tape and would eventually pass it on to Sean “Puffy” Combs who would sign Biggie to his upstart label, Bad Boy Records, in the early 1990s. Cee would also go on to become the associate executive producer for Big’s debut album, Ready To Die, in 1994.
