For the last 3 weeks 2 Chainz has been plastered all over the media and unfortunately not for news surrounding his upcoming album but for the Oklahoma arrest in which guns and drugs were found aboard his tour bus. Silent on the topic until now, the rapper has come forth stating that he simply made a mistake and just like everyone else he's not perfect.

In an interview on DJ Skee's "Skee Live" 2 Chainz finally addressed the matter saying,"You just keep it moving. I come from an urban, challenged background. "I come from an apartment set and a bunch of guys raised by single mothers. And I made it in a lot of people's eyes. Once people, or the law, whoever figures that we're roughly on the same team, because I'm out here, basically just tryin' to feed my family. You know, paying taxes and none of us are perfect. Let me be the first to say that."

Later assuring that he looks to be a role model amidst the trials and tribulations he added, "But, just for me, I'm just trying to be some kind of example, some type of inspiration for someone that's behind someone that's coming up to know, 'You kinda got rights. You storta have rights.'"

"I'm successful, but I try to give back, I try to entertain, I try to be a people's person, I try not to be a jerk, I try to treat everybody the same",he continued.
