There were many hot videos released this summer and sorting through all to pick the top 15 was quite a challenge. As hip-hop presented an array of visuals that varied in content, collaboration, and rhythm; there was certainly a vivid assortment to select from. With small timers coming in for the kill and big timers once again solidifying their spots in the game, both parties continued to partake in the age-old battle for the throne.

In the official video for his the single off Oxymoron, ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar hang out at a party and kick it by the pool. As expected it’s trippy, and you also can catch a cameo by Macklemore. Check it out.

Jay Z Featuring Justin Timberlake, "Holy Grail"

After a long wait, the visual to the Magna Carta... Holy Grail track featuring Justin Timberlake finally arrived. Admidst wrapping The Legends Of The Summer Tour, both artists crafted up a dark clip which references the iconic fight when Buster Douglas knocked out Mike Tyson.

Chance The Rapper, "Everybody's Something"

After the overwhelming success of Chance The Rapper’s Acid Rap, the unsigned rap star released the visuals for his honest song “Everybody’s Something.” Directed by Austin Vesely, the video follows Chance’s silhouette as it projects a series of historical moments, maps and neighborhoods. Chance’s ability to illustrate the worth of human beings is amazing. And here, he takes another step on the path to becoming the best among his peers.

Joey Bada$$, "95 Til Infinity"

Joey Bada$$ gives us a poignant look of his life in “95 ‘Til Infinity.” Directed by oG $wank, Joey walks us through his hood, as well as various locations (Times Square, etc.) in NYC. Joey’s known to let his lyrics speak for themselves, so the video does just that. Now, if only Joey can catch a cab next time…

The Weeknd, "Kiss Land"

Taking a journey to the Land of the Rising Sun, The Weeknd returns to his sprawling epics on “Kiss Land.” The video, which shows Abel surrounded by his vices and strippers, is hazy with very little direction. But at the same time, he sings about being gone for so long and can’t hardly remember anything. It’s an emotional roller coaster that represents the idea of the Weeknd’s dark and twisted world.

Nelly Featuring Nicki Minaj & Pharrell, "Get Like Me"

Nelly is looking to make a comeback and his “Get Like Me” single is a strong start. In the Colin Tilley-directed video, Nelly, Nicki Minaj and Pharrell are having fun playing for the camera. Buns as drums, an old man with a gold grill, and some fly rides are highlights in the four-minute affair. It's safe to say Nelly is ready to make more smashes again.

Jay Z, "Picasso Baby"

Jay Z implemented #NewRules after releasing his twelfth studio album, Magna Carta... Holy Grail. In an unconventional manner, Jay shot his performance art video for “Picasso Baby” at Pace Gallery. Surrounded by a limited audience that included journalists, children, actors, and even Wale, Hov is in the center of it all feeding off everyone’s energy. What’s more special about the video is that he’s wearing his Roc-A-Fella chain proudly. Throw your diamonds in the sky.

Chief Keef, "Citgo"

On Chief Keef’s 18th birthday, the live wire Chicago rapper gave the visual treatment to his slept-on bonus track “Citgo.” Directed by William Hoopes, the video follows Keef and his GBE crew as they ride around ATVs and getting extremely lifted off that good stuff. It’s a typical day and a life of a teenage rapper who has upgraded since his breakout song "I Don't Like." With more money comes better visuals and this one is gorgeous.

DJ Khaled Featuring Drake, Lil Wayne & Rick Ross, "No New Friends"

DJ Khaled’s first single off Suffering From Success needed to have a big video. Everything Khaled embodies is an extravagant lifestyle and it’s all captured in “No New Friends.” Splicing retro and new scenes, the idea is that YMCMB and their affiliates have stuck together for years. Hence, the hashtag and meme-worthy song title, “No New Friends.” Enjoy the ‘90s—with Drake’s infamous Dada outfit— here.

YG Featuring Rich Homie Quan & Young Jeezy, "My Nigga"

YG rolls out the new video for his Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan assisted single, “My Nigga.” The Compton rapper finds himself in a sticky situation, but his loyalty for his partners pays off in the end.

Wale Featuring Nicki Minaj & Juicy J, "Clappers"

Hints the title, “Clappers” is full of cheeks! Wale linked with Nicki Minaj and Juicy J for the single and the team cranks turn up to a new level in the clip. Meek Mill makes an appearance in the visual for the track off of Wale’s The Gifted.

Robin Thicke Featuring 2 Chainz And Kendrick Lamar, "Give It 2 U (Remix)"

While his T.I featured single “Blurred Lines” had a reign over Billboard charts, Thicke also collaborated with 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar. In “Give It 2 U", Thicke and the two rappers invade a football field causing all types of chaos during a homecoming celebration.

Big Sean Featuring Jhené Aiko & Lil Wayne, "Beware"

Big Sean certainly delivered when unleashing the visual to the Jhené Aiko and Lil Wayne adorned cut “Beware”. Big Sean crafted up a trippy video for the cautionary love tune in which Jhené and Wayne also made a cameo.

Chris Brown Featuring Nicki Minaj, "Love More"

Compiling a bunch of comedian for the clip, Chris presents a hilarious video for the song. Brown dances the night away and Nicki Minaj struts her stuff in the visual for the upbeat club single, “Love More.”

Just Blaze & Baauer Featuring Jay Z, “Higher”

After much teasing, Just Blaze and Baauer unveiled the short film to their Jay-Z assisted effort “Higher”. In the martial arts themed clip, viewers follow the story of a young boy searching for a sense of manhood.
