The second annual Trillectro Festival in Washington D.C. was one to remember. The Half Street Fairgrounds was filled to capacity with both D.C. metro area locals and visitors, all eager to see their favorite festival performers, enjoy the diverse crowd, and take in the experience of D.C.'s newest hip summer event.

Rap and electro acts split performance times during the festival, with local acts like Shy Glizzy and Phil Ade rocking crowds during the day--but some of the most memorable moments took place on the main stage later on in the evening. Local talent turned international super star Wale had a short homecoming set, that included appearances from hometown favorites Fat Trel and the Slutty Boyz. A$AP Rocky also graced the stage with A$AP Ferg for the duo's latest single "Shabba" from Ferg's upcoming album Trap Lord. Washington Wizards star John Wall was also among the crowd along with Vine's most popular character as of late, Terio, culminating in quite an exciting day for festival planners DCtoBC and Washington DC's music scene.—Kazz Laidlaw
