In honor of the 25-year anniversary of Yo! MTV Raps, iconic streetwear brand Stüssy has teamed up with Yo! to commemorate the show's impact on hip-hop culture. In a statement about the significance of the show, Stussy writes, "Yo! MTV Raps transmitted the culture of Rap to millions of homes at a time when there were only a handful of local outlets to see a rap video. The style, the trends, the language of Rap began to influence popular culture and by the time the show left the air in 1995, the genre was no longer the best kept secret."

While the collaboration initially resulted in a collection of tees and sweatshirts that feature the likes of LL Cool J, Public Enemy and Ice-T, it has now led to a two-part Stüssy-helmed documentary about Yo!, titled We Were All Watching. In the documentary, hip-hop legends like Alchemist, MC Lyte, DJ Premier, Rakim and Sway talk about the show's start and its lasting legacy in making hip-hop a culturally accessible genre.
