Rick Ross “Salutes” Drake And His OVO Movement

Rick Ross isn’t a stranger to working with some of the hottest rappers in hip-hop. We’ve seen the biggest boss collaborate on tracks from the YMCMB crew, Southern heavyweights and more. But one notable artist is Drake, where the pair has worked on big hits like “Aston Martin Music,” “Lord Knows” and the current summer smash “No New Friends.”

Earlier this morning, Drizzy released his official single “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” Of course, Twitter was on fire about the rapper’s pop-tinged R&B record. It caught the attention of Rozay, who saluted him for his unstoppable OVO movement. Real recognize real.

I love how whenever a rapper tweets anything about another rapper it becomes an “article”. No, you are providing commentary on a tweet. This is far too common on every hip hop site. I feel bad for the writers who actually got hired with the intention of telling stories.

I do tell stories, but people also love the fact that Ross gave props to someone who deserves it. That’s good enough for an acknowledgment.
