Kendrick Lamar has sent a huge riff in hip-hop for his scathing verse on Big Sean’s “Control.” There have been a number of responses from the likes of Joell Ortiz, B.o.B, Fred The Godson and plenty more. We’ve also heard some interesting reactions from the artists who were name-checked on the verse. Sadly, we won’t be hearing Joe Budden’s verse (“This is 4 Big, suicidal thoughts, Coogi printed.. This is for Nas Army jacket w the Uzi in it..”) or Fabolous’s (Still M.I.A.). However, Brooklyn’s own Papoose comes through with four minutes of lyrical barbs aimed at K.Dot.

Let’s be clear – Kendrick was the one who gave Pap an opportunity to perform at this year’s Summer Jam. He was thankful for that in his freestyle, but the pleasantries end there. He calls out Drake, Big Sean, Kanye West and the entire TDE label.

“Tell Kendrick and TDE they need to lay off the PCP/ Far from the king, this is the city of BDP/ You’ll never be a real west coast artist like Eazy-E/ You fucking joke, we laughing at you like hehehe/ Ya’ll probably stick dildos in each other like Stevie G/ I mean Stevie J on that sextape with E-V-E."

That’s just a highlight. Listen below.
