Nicki Minaj Responds To Ransom Lyric: “I Don’t Need No Ghostwriter”
After New Jersey’s Ransom dropped his new track “Man Alone”—which features the lyric “Before Nicki was wearing those crazy wigs / I was doing verses for her just hoping she made it big”—reports began surfacing that he’d claimed that he was ghostwriting for Nicki Minaj. Well, trust TMZ to smell out a potential controversy and look for a reaction. The site asked Minaj last night in a video what she thought about Ransom’s perceived diss, and she didn’t take too kindly to it.
“Yo, I’m not even a man and niggas got my dick in they mouth,” she starts off, before getting upset at the allegation. “Are you fucking serious? I’m undisputed because I’m the only female rapper that, day one, I don’t need no motherfucking ghostwriter. So if you tellin’ that lie, you must be real fuckin’ desperate, and you still ain’t gonna pop.”
For his part, Ransom defended her, saying that Nicki writes her own lyrics as far as he knows.
@michaelsofamous as far as I know she writes her own
