Lil Scrappy Arrested For Role In A Gas Station Brawl

Yesterday morning, Lil Scrappy was arrested in Georgia for allegedly taking part in a fight that took part in a gas station. At 2:33 a.m, police were called to the scene where the star of VH1's Love & Hip Hop was reportedly involved in a scrap between himself and another man, Kenny Rogers, where they were soon were arrested and booked for disorderly conduct. An off-duty police officer was on-hand to break up the fight before anybody was hurt.

Speaking with TMZ, Lil Scrappy proclaimed that his involvement was in self-defense as his girlfriend was being harassed by Rogers before the man put his hands on Scrappy.

"He was calling my girlfriend names and then put his hands on me ... so I had to lay them paws on him," Scrappy told TMZ.

According to a statement released by Lil Scrappy's lawyer, Mawuli Mel Davis, there is video evidence that exists that will exonerate Lil Scrappy and verify his version of the story.

TMZ is reporting that Lil Scrappy plans to cooperate with police for the rest of investigation. XXL will keep you informed as any new developments take place in the case.
