Ja Rule And Ashanti Reunite In The Studio

Not long after being released from prison, it looks like New York rapper Ja Rule is getting right back to work. In a candid studio shot posted by his former collaborator and Murder Inc. teammate Ashanti (above), the pair seems to be working on new music. Ashanti's caption for the photo reads: "Uhh ohhhhh me & my bro @ruleyorkcity in the lizzaaaabbbbb!!!!!!! We haven't seen each other in 4ever!!! & it feels great!!!"

In June of this year, Ashanti spoke to VladTV about Ja and explained, "He’s super excited about the music…Hopefully, we get it all popping. It’s no denying our chemistry." The duo's past collaborative hits include "Always On Time" and "Mesmerize."
