Today, Aug. 23, marks the birthday of Wayne Hardnett, Jr., better known to hip-hop fans as Bone Crusher. The ATL rapper now turns 47.

The Atlanta rhymer is best known for his top-five hit "Never Scared" with T.I. and Killer Mike in 2004. "Never Scared," off his debut album AttenCHUN!, peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 8 on Billboard's U.S. R&B Charts and No. 6 on the U.S. rap charts. Since his breakout single, Bone Crusher has worked with many Dirty South affiliates on wax the likes of Ying Yang Twins, T-Pain, Goodie Mob and more. Although, he has not released an album since 2006, Bone Crusher is remembered for his high-energy and bombastic delivery in his music. His last mixtape, Planet Crusher, was released in 2009.

This October, Bone Crusher will accompany the likes of Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow and more for the So So Def's 25th Anniversary Cultural Curren$y Tour. Dope.
