In anticipation of the expected October release date of his new album Old, Danny Brown took a trip down memory lane last night and chose to release a documentary from 2009, titled 12.12.08: The Danny Brown Movie. The hourlong documentary, which was shot by director Nic Notion, chronicles Danny's efforts to get noticed and break out as a solo act in Detroit. It features snippets of live footage as well as lengthy interviews with Brown, who had braids back then and generally looked like a totally different Danny. Check it out above.
