There has been some tension between Big Sean and Danny Brown regarding the status of Detroit.

Last week, Brown talked about Sean in an interview with the Fader, saying, “You listen to how I talk about Detroit, and you listen to how a rapper like Big Sean talk about Detroit, and it’s like we’re talking about two different cities.”

Sean responded back in a separate interview with Hip Hop Nation while promoting his forthcoming album, Hall Of Fame. He didn’t address Brown specifically, but you could tell he was passionate about representing where he came from.

Now, it seems the two have made amends. In a response from a tweet by @captain_xo, Sean says everything is “all squared away.” He followed that up by promising the city needs to stick together. Brown later retweeted it which means the two are on the same page. Problem solved.
