For the first time in Wale’s storied career, the D.C. native has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for The Gifted. His third studio album sold less than his 2011 effort Ambition, but is still a huge milestone for him.

The Gifted sold 158,000 copies in its first week, topping the charts after hip-hop's Super Tuesday. Elsewhere, J. Cole’s Born Sinner moves 83,652 copies, while Kanye West’s Yeezus sold around 65, 721 copies.

Wale’s The Gifted featured the smash single “Bad.” It also has guest appearances from Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj and more. Here is the rest of the sales recap below.
