The BET Awards were in full effect on Sunday. Outside of the awards show, hip-hop generated more news worth talking about. Meek Mill got in trouble for his social media antics so he has to take etiquette classes, Kanye West announces “Black Skinhead” as his single, and Jay-Z subliminally takes shots at Lil Wayne (again.) 1. Meek Mill Ordered By Judge To Take Etiquette Classes
The MMG rapper was recently ordered to take etiquette classes partly as a result of some of his fans sending threatening tweets to his probation officer, according to a report by NBC Philadelphia.

2. Kanye West Picks First Single Off ‘Yeezus,’ Working On Video
Yeezy has picked, “Black Skinheads” as the first official single off the album and a clean version of the track has been sent out to DJs. The proud papa, is also currently shooting a video for the song which should be released when the track begins to hit the airwaves, reps for Def Jam recently confirmed to Billboard.

3. Kendrick Lamar Receives Platinum Plaque For ‘good kid, m.A.A.d. city’
In just over seven months, Kendrick Lamar’s opus, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, has reached platinum status. Shortly after rocking the stage at the BET Experience concert, over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar scooped up his platinum plaque for the highly lauded LP during a T.D.E. and Interscope hosted party in L.A.

4. Jay-Z Shares Lyrics To “La Familia”
Remember this line from Wayne? "Kidnap your bitch, get that 'how much you love your lady' money." Well, it looks like Hov is finally responding to it in his song "La Familia." We're not sure if this was Hov's intention, but we certainly are intrigued.

5. Hit-Boy Parts Ways With G.O.O.D. Music
Producer, Hit-Boy, who signed with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label in 2011, and went on to score hits like, “Niggas In Paris” and “Clique,” has parted ways with the label. Hot 97′s Miss Info recently sat down with the Surf Club boss at the 2013 BET Awards Radio room where the popular Cali producer/rapper revealed that he is no loger with Yeezy’s imprint and is focusing on his own label, HS87.
