Jay-Z was doing more than blowing smoke when he decreed that he would make up new rules for his 12th studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. To date, he's made true by making an unprecedented deal with Samsung that caused the R.I.A.A. to update one of their policies, holding a scavenger hunt for song titles and releasing track lyrics by the day. Now for the next twist. After Amazon Germany revealed what appeared to be the album's cover on Monday (July 1), Hov debuted the official album art for MCHG (above) in a cathedral in the United Kingdom, via his website Life+Times. The same cathedral that houses one of the original 1215 Magna Carta documents. Who does that? Hov. The cover will sit on display, like a work of art, in the Salisbury Cathedral Chapter House for the entire month of July.

Jay's new album will be available to those who have downloaded the MagnaCarta app through Samsung on July 4. The album touches down worldwide, July 9.
