After recently finalizing a blockbuster deal for his own television network, Revolt, Puff is back making moves among the music makers. Now, the mogul has taken on the role as R&B artist Jeremih’s manager. Rap-Up recently caught up with the Def Jam crooner at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards where he revealed the new union. “As of two months ago, P. Diddy and James Cruz actually took over my management,” said Jeremih. “I’m out here doing a lot more work now.” The "Birthday Sex" singer went on to say the opportunity to work with an artist developer like Diddy holds a lot of weight. “It means a lot to me as an artist, as a writer," he added. "For Puff to acknowledge my talent and my gift, it’s a good thing.”

Jeremih’s album, Thumpy Johnson, which is slated to drop sometime in 2014, will also be executive produced by the Bad Boy head. According to Jeremih, with Diddy’s guidance, the album will be hard hitting, yet diverse. “It’s definitely for the trunk, it’s definitely for the streets. It’s definitely for everybody. It’s a lot of thump for your trunk and just crack music for the streets.”

Diddy, French Montana, Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, who appears on the single "All The Time," are all due to appear on the album.
