Funk Volume is set to release a documentary entitled Independent Living: The Funk Volume Documentary. The documentary follows the imprint’s 2012 tour, which featured 44 performances in 50 days. It showcases the hard work ethic of artists on Funk Volume, as they perform to sold-out crowds across the nation.

The official trailer shown above shows Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton, SwiZz, DJ Hoppa and Funk Volume CEO Damien “Dame” Ritter. Each of them reflects on the success of Funk Volume as an indie force. In particular, Wright tells us about his responsibilities during the tour. "I'm a daddy, so when I'm on the road, it's like this is my job," he said. "This is my dream."
