Snoop Lion has been vocal about gun violence in our nation. In another effort to continue the conversation, Snoop, T.I., Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Executive Director of the League of Young Voters Dr. Rob “Biko” Baker and more will weigh in the issue in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The group, which will also include community leaders, will discuss the affect of gun violence on society. The roundtable panel discussion will be hosted by the League of Young Voters and BET and will take place live during BET Experience.

Recently, Snoop Lion featured a song on his album Reincarnated called “No Guns Allowed” featuring Cori B. and Drake. The title has become the hashtag (#NoGuns Allowed) for the June 29 event.

In the video promoting the event, Snoop described his inspiration behind the record. “I just felt like it was necessary for me to make a record that spoke to the violence, spoke to me wanting to have a good time tonight with no guns allowed, with no guns permitted so that everybody can go home and enjoy tomorrow.”
