His First Car Almost Got Him Killed

In the summer of 1994, with the money made from selling drugs, Fif, 19-year-old at the time, purchased a charcoal gray Toyota Land Cruiser for $53,000 in cash. While driving his whip through a rough neighborhood, a driver in another car pulled up next to him asking, “Yo, where Black at?” Per Fif, “Black” was a notorious goon. However, lucky for him the stranger drove off after he shrugged at the question.

Traded His First Car for a Mercedes-Benz 400 SEL

After the run-in with his Toyota Land Cruiser, 50 went back to the dealership and traded in the car for a white Mercedes Benz 400 SEL. Oh, and there were extra features added like bulletproof windows and a 6.0 liter V-12 engine.
