Earl Sweatshirt Cancels Bonnaroo Set Due To Pneumonia
Fans of Earl Sweatshirt received some disappointing news, as the OFWGKTA rapper has nixed his Bonnaroo set.
Earl took to Twitter to announce to his fans that he will not be able to make his set at Bonnaroo this year due to illness. Apparently, however, some fans weren’t too happy about the news, prompting him to challenge fans to, “get pneumonia and then try singing ‘whoa’…with no hypeman.”
To everyone at bonnaroo: im sorry i cant make it im really really fucking sick but i will make it up to tennessee as soon as i possibly can— Earl Sweatshirt (@earlxsweat) June 13, 2013
to everyone who think im being overdramatic, go get pneumonia and then try singing ‘whoa’ all the way through with no hypeman. im just sayin

Earl isn’t the only act to cancel his set at the Tennessee festival, however. Folk-pop group Mumford and Sons also nixed their set after their bassist was forced to go into surgery for a blood clot on the surface of his brain.
