Cory Gunz To Release Mixtape ‘Datz WTF I’m Talkin’ Bout’ On July 16

XXL Freshmen Class of 2009 alum Cory Gunz is preparing his official return to hip-hop this July.

The YMCMB spitter recently released a video trailer announcing the release of his newest mixtape Datz WTF I'm Talkin' Bout this July 16. The project marks the Bronx rhymer's first mixtape release since 2011's Son Of A Gun: The Mixtape.

According to Gunz, the delay in his musical output was a result of his 2012 arrest, in which he was found in possession of an unregistered loaded firearm.

"With a platinum single [Lil Wayne's '6 Foot 7 Foot'] on the radio and a hit show on MTV, I was well on my way," he says in the trailer. "One year later with the arrest now behind me, it's time to pick up where I left off."
