Ashanti Ready To Work With Ja Rule Again

During her promo run for her upcoming BraveHeart album, R&B songstress Ashanti stopped by Hot 97 and spoke with Ebro and K Foxx about a recent phone conversation she had with Ja Rule. She revealed that Ja's in "great spirits" following his incarceration. In regards to the two possibly recording again, following the success of past duets like "Mesmerize" and "Always On Time," the singer answered, " He has a studio downstairs in the house. That's where he's gonna be all the time. He's super excited about the music...Hopefully we get it all popping. [There's] no denying our chemistry...I mean, he has to focus on his stuff right now and I gotta focus on mine."

Ashanti's upcoming album is set to arrive on July 30, with featuring including French Montana and Meek Mill. The album will be released through the singer's Written Entertainment label.
