2 Chainz Opens Up About Recent Robbery, “I Had Bullet Fragments In My Hair”

XXL cover boy, 2 Chainz’s recent robbery (or attempted-robbery depending on what story you believe) has been fodder for the Internet for days. The ATL rapper maintains that he was not relieved of his valuables when gunmen rap up on his crew in broad daylight while walking down a San Francisco street earlier this week, though police claim otherwise. Either way, Titty dos necklace recently sat down with Emperor Searcy and Mz Shyneka of Hot 107.9 in Atlanta explained the seriousness of situation, saying once he saw the size of the strap the gunman was holding he knew it wasn’t a prank and all the superman stuff went out the window.

“I saw the gun first,” 2 Chainz said. “It was like a .357. It was so heavy he couldn’t really hold it. The gun was so big. That’s what made me take off running. When I went into the street, there was another dude with a whole ‘nother gun. That’s when I knew it wasn’t like an episode of Punk’d. I was like this is real…I had bullet fragments in my hair.”

Chainz added that he was happy to escape unscathed, “I think he thought he shot me. I’m just excited about life. I’m so turnt up, you can’t turn me down. I’m just geeked about life. Then when I saw the footage, I’m like it was real. They was on my ass. This was a sign. That’s all it was.”
