Regardless of yesterday's news, 2 Chainz is still looking to turn up the heat this summer, considering the anticipation behind his forthcoming sophomore album. Speaking to REVOLT while backstage at Hot 97's Summer Jam, the T.R.U. general speaks on the new album saying that it will "definitely [show] growth" from his last Billboard chart-topping album, Based On a T.R.U. Story.

Tit unveiled the project's first single, "Feds Watching," last week after premiering it on the grand Summer Jam stage. "I definitely showed progress. I have some more entertaining features on there, you know I like to keep the element of surprise...This my second album, I feel good about it I have more fans [now] than I did the last time so it should be a cool journey."

2 Chainz' next album arrives on September 10. "Feds Watching" is currently available on iTunes.
