Lil Wayne Gives 2013 NBA Finals Prediction

Lil Wayne is a huge sports fan. And though his Lakers were swept in the first round of the NBA playoffs, the rapper is still interested on how the rest of the hoops season plays out. Weezy recently chopped it up with MTV News and gave his prediction on which team will raise the trophy at the end of the year.

“[The Lakers] are very much out of it,” said Wayne obviously a little upset over his team’s early exit. And despite his beefs with members of the Miami Heat, Wayne didn’t let that cloud his opinion saying he thinks the South Beach boys can repeat. “Come on man. You know you can’t beat that machine out here in Miami,” he said. “I think the Spurs will give them a run for their money but…that machine.”
