UPDATE: AraabMuzik Thanks Fans For Their Support With Hospital Photo

Producer AraabMuzik, who is behind the excellent instrumental tape For Professional Use Only, was shot in an attempted robbery Thursday night in Rhode Island.

AraabMuzik—real name Abraham Orellana—was photographed in the hospital surrounded by his closest peers. A representative from Orellana’s group released a statement on his current status.

"Rumors have begun to circulate and first and foremost, we want to let everyone know that AraabMUZIK is currently alive and well," a representative said. "He was out in his neighborhood last night with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime. We appreciate all the concern and fan support and Araab is looking forward to a speedy recovery and returning to the stage as soon as he can."

UPDATE: AraabMuzik jumped on his Instagram to give his fans a closer look at his recovery. "#Recorvering. I would like to thank everybody that wished me well, I appreciate all the love from all over the world!! #MVPOFTHEMPC," he wrote.
