Action Bronson Says ‘Saab Stories’ Is Releasing In Early June

Action Bronson has his fair share of collaborative projects in his catalogue. The one that has a lot of rap fans talking is Saab Stories with Harry Fraud. Based on a recent update by Bronson, there is a tentative release date for it.

Bronson tweeted that the pair are currently finishing up the album. It will soon hit the Internet and stores sometime in early June.

Bronson and Fraud have kept the project under wraps, but have given us a hint of their chemistry in the first single titled “Strictly 4 My Jeeps.” The visuals—which feature an appearance by Riff Raff—are currently being shot in Queens and will be directed by Jason Goldwatch. If you haven’t watched it yet, catch Mass Appeal‘s behind-the-scenes look here.

Action Bronson has worked with Statik Selektah and The Alchemist who are both legends and amazing producers. Fraud has worked with so many new school heads that i don’t like (except for Sean Price). I hope Fraud doesn’t throw the Rick Ross beats with the loud Bass and that annoying snare, that we’ve all heard a million times already

Eh while I do believe that Harry Fraud should better control the quality of the rappers he worked with, he produced Bird on a Wire and Strictly 4 My Jeeps which makes me confident enough that this’ll be tight.

I think Action works so well with the producers he’s paired up with and that explains why his albums/mixtapes are done entirely by one producer, which gives the entire album a consistent feel. Aside from Alchemist and Statik Selectah, the producers Bronson has worked with are rising in success like he is too (Tommy Mas, Party Supplies, Harry Fraud). I’m worried that theVice Records will have him working with a bunch of different producers on the same album, and yeah it’ll be cool to hear Action Bronson on a Primo or RZA beat, but the album will be missing that complete package element.

If it’s anything like Bird on a Wire, Morey Boogie Boards, Compliments to the Chef, then I can’t wait for Saab Stories to drop.
