JoJo Simmons Responds to Altercation With Juelz Santana’s Crew

JoJo Simmons, the son of Rev. Run, got shook up by some goons affiliated with Juelz Santana in Queens. A few days later, JoJo is speaking on the incident, while trying to stay as tough as possible in a recent video clip.

In case you forgot the reason behind this whole run-in, JoJo released a diss track called “Holy Water” in response to Juelz’ shot on “Soft.” He raps, "Now how you gonna mention my uncle Russell / Then disrespect his nephew / The industry forgot you / Fucker, you nothing special/ These niggas hate to love you / Simmons will not let you / Compare your money to my money, boy that's disrespectful."

The photo above was taken by one of the Harlem rapper’s Skull Gang members named Hynief. He also dropped a few lines about it.

"Guess who I caught y'all Lil punk A$$ Jo Jo that made the diss track look at his face when he ace! #facts shouldn't pop sh-t if u not bout that life real ni--as don't care who u related too f-ck ni--a," read the caption of the photo posted on Instagram.

Earlier this morning, JoJo appeared on CraveTV in support of his friend’s upcoming album. He also commented on the recent encounter with a room full of goons behind his back.

"All I been around is money all my life. I ain’t been around that thug or that gun shit all my life, that's not what I do," he explained. “What I do is I count money, and I fuck bitches, and I travel the world, and that's what I do. I'm not on that violent shit."
