J. Cole is very much a producer as he is a rapper. In his new behind-the-scenes video, the North Carolina MC walks us through how he pieced the beat together. Throughout different stages, Cole knows when he’s ready to add different things to a certain point. We also learn why he chose that infectious melody we hear in the background. Interesting stuff.
