A judge ruled in Las Vegas that there is enough evidence for Flavor Flav to be convicted for two felony charges.

The former reality TV star is standing trial for threatening his longtime girlfriend’s 17-year-old son with a butcher knife. Although he didn’t testify during the evidence hearing on Wednesday, the teenager made a statement.

Flavor Flav—real name William Jonathan Drayton Jr.—is accused of pushing his girlfriend to the floor in an October 17 incident. Then, Flav started to chase and threaten her son while he was holding knives.

A judge scheduled an arraignment for April 18 on felony charges of assault with a weapon and child endangerment. If he is convicted, Flav could face up to 12 years in prison.
