This week finds underground heavyweights like Ill Bill sand R.A. the Rugged Man coming through with wacky visuals, while newcomers like A$AP Twelvyy and DeLorean snag dope videos for their more recent work. And then there's Ghostface, whose latest puts coke dealers and cassete enthusiasts on notice.

Ghostface Killah - "Rise of the Black Suits"

Ghostface Killah lives up to the giallo-stylings of his upcoming album with Adrian Younge 12 Reasons to Die in the blood-soaked visuals for "Rise of the Black Suits." Visually speaking, the video is a perfect mixture of DIY hand-held camera work and exceptionally-paced pans, canted camera angles and focus shifts. It also doesn't hurt that the video features the Apollo Brown-produced version of the song, which will appear on the cassette-only version of the album.

Ill Bill - "Paul Baloff"

There's something about cartoon music videos that's always rubbed me the wrong way. Although some videos got it right - namely, the Gorillaz's "Clint Eastwood" and newer entries like Joey Bada$$' "Unorthodox" - most animated music videos come off as cheaply made cop-outs from artists who don't care enough to put in the money for a clean video. That's not the case with Ill Bill's "Paul Baloff," however. The ultra-violent comic stylings of the video perfectly capture Bill's die-hard love for heavy metal and breath a little humorous life into an otherwise serious song.

Chance the Rapper - "NaNa"

The video is a mortal lock for success from the very jump - give Chance and the always hilarious Hannibal Buress $5,000 to shoot a music video however they would like. And while it's pretty apparent that Chance and Hannibal cut production costs to a minimum and pocketed the rest of the budget (because who wouldn't?), it's hard to argue that the video is any worse for it. From chilling over pizza with Childish Gambino to Chance nearly getting decapitated in a chicken suit, "NaNa" is one of the funniest videos to hit the 'Nets this week.

A$AP Twelvyy feat. Da$h - "Jay Reed"

Twelvyy keeps it simple for the visuals to his collaboration with Da$h "Jay Reed" off the A$AP Mob's Lords Never Worry mixtape. The video is a dark, grimy work that captures Twelvyy's native Bronx in all its rugged glory. The video plays like a throwback to mid-'90s videos from Onyx and the Wu-Tang Clan, presenting the image of a New York that's as dangerous and deceptive as it was under Rudy Giuliani.

R.A. the Rugged Man - "The People's Champ"

Boxing has long been the official sport of underground hip-hop, and one of the few artists that truly embodies the struggle of the sport is R.A. the Rugged Man. The underground '90s vet takes his latest single "The People's Champ" into the ring with a fantastically lit, high-energy video. In usual Rugged Man style, the video is fun and finds the Long Island MC taking his on-camera antics to the next level with everything ninja outfits, ring girls and even an appearance from Rampage.

DeLorean feat. Curtis Snow - "Breathe"

As I put this list together, it's a frigid rainy day in New York City, an annoyingly uncharacteristic reality given the fact that we enjoyed two back-to-back days of sun and 80 degree weather earlier this week. With that in mind, I can't help but feel envious after watching DeLorean and Curtis Snow's video for "Breathe," which combines the track's laid-back feel with key visuals of outdoor barbecues and top-down whips. It's a clean, exceptionally well shot video that translates that classic spring feeling into visual form.
