Tyga’s upcoming album Hotel California aims to impress with features that count.

T-Raw unveiled the tracklist earlier this month, which has him rhyming alongside collaborators like Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, and Future. There’s another track, titled “Hit ‘Em Up,” with some unreleased vocals by the late Tupac.

During his sitdown with MTV News, Tyga broke down the story behind the album cut. Originally, he wanted to get Nicki Minaj, but reached out to Jadakiss who lay down one of his signature verses.

In the closing hours of the track, T-Raw added some Pac vocals that one of his friends had stashed away. Despite having a similar name as Pac’s Bad Boy diss record, he confirms that his version is not a remake.

Watch the interview above, and grab Hotel California, which releases on April 9.
