Mixtape Download: Bishop Nehru’s “Nehruvia”

The pool of young MCs continues to get bigger, but there are only few who are capable of carrying the torch. 16-year-old Bishop Nehru released his standout video for “Misruled Order” last week, and follows that up with his official project called Nehru Nehruvia. It features Golden Age-era beats from well-known names like J. Dilla, Madlib, MF Doom, DJ Premier and more. Although comparisons to Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era crew are imminent, Nehru brings a sleek spin to classic rap that he can call his own.
