UPDATE: Lil Wayne’s Publicist Confirms Reports Of A Seizure

It appears that Lil Wayne’s medical condition isn’t quite as dire as other sources have reported.

TMZ reported this afternoon that Lil Wayne suffered another seizure today after consuming excessive amounts of codeine and was put in a medically induced coma. However, multiple members of Weezy’s YMCMB team have taken to Twitter to deny the reports that the New Orleans rapper is in critical condition.

Mack Maine, Birdman and Karen Civil have all come forward to correct TMZ’s previous reports that Wayne was placed in a medically induced coma. Mack said that he and Wayne are currently watching the Syracuse basketball game and that fans shouldn’t believe the reports about “comas and tubes to breathe.”

The reports of Lil Wayne’s condition come directly on the heels of the news that the New Orleans rapper suffered multiple seizures yesterday March 14th.

Stay tuned to XXL for more information as the story develops.

UPDATE: Lil Wayne has taken to Twitter to update his fans on his condition. He gave thanks to his fans for their support and said that he’s doing well.

UPDATE: A publicist for Lil Wayne has confirmed to CNN that he did in fact suffer another seizure, but added that he was not put into a medically induced coma and that he is doing well since the incident.
