It appears that Lil Wayne’s medical condition isn’t quite as dire as other sources have reported.
TMZ reported this afternoon that Lil Wayne suffered another seizure today after consuming excessive amounts of codeine and was put in a medically induced coma. However, multiple members of Weezy’s YMCMB team have taken to Twitter to deny the reports that the New Orleans rapper is in critical condition.
Mack Maine, Birdman and Karen Civil have all come forward to correct TMZ’s previous reports that Wayne was placed in a medically induced coma. Mack said that he and Wayne are currently watching the Syracuse basketball game and that fans shouldn’t believe the reports about “comas and tubes to breathe.”
Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game…thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love
