Lil Wayne has finally broken the silence on his recent hospitalization for seizures. In an interview with DJ Felli Fell on Power 106, Tunechi revealed that he is an epileptic with a history of frequent seizures. While some of his seizures weren’t severe, this time it got the best of him.

The bad news is I'm an epileptic," Wayne explained. "I'm prone to seizures. This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizures. I've had a bunch of seizures, y'all just never hear about them. But this time it got real bad 'cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 percent. Basically, I could've died, so that is why it was so serious."

Wayne continued that the cause of his seizures were just him overworking himself. “the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That’s just typical me though.” He commented on the fact that he has seizures so frequently, the people around him “already know what to do.”

However, three back-to-back seizures was a first for him and he says it was much more serious than before. He reassured fans at the end of his call that he was 100 percent.

The YMCMB leader also addressed TMZ’s inconsistent report, which originally said Weezy was being given his last rites. He said he wasn’t mad about it. "They gon' probably come out tomorrow and say something else about somebody else that ain't true," he said. "That's what they do. The truth isn't good enough for them, so they gotta twist everything up."

Lil Wayne released I Am Not a Human Being II on Tuesday, which is projected to sell 200,000 copies in the first week.
