Lee “Scratch” Perry Sends a Message to Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne, who is reportedly still in intensive care recovering from alleged codeine overdose, is drawing serious concern from friends, family and fans. Everyone from Birdman to Chris Paul has showed support for Wayne, who is currently at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai hospital. Now, Jamaican legend Lee “Scratch” Perry has recorded a public service announcement advising Weezy to give up cough syrup and value his life more. He opens with the 1949 song “Enjoy Yourself, “ and later lays down some wisdom that shouldn’t be overlooked. Watch the short clip above.
