Suicidal Thoughts Intro
The life of a rapper isn’t always fun and games. Like anyone else, they’re susceptible to paranoia, depression and yes, even suicidal thoughts. And it’s not just your emo rappers. Some of the most flamboyant, braggadocious rappers have opened up in their music about their thoughts of ending it all. Take a look here at 17 Rap Songs Contemplating Suicide.
"I swear to God I want to just slit my wrists and end this bullshit / Throw the Magnum to my head, threaten to pull shit."
"I'm drunk by myself, gun under my seat / I don't want none of my peeps caught up in none of my beef / I'ma ride to the end of the road if I have to / Praying no car speeds by for me to crash to / Steering wheel in my hand / Trying to hold it steady / Anything in my way is dead / Cause that's the way I feel, I am already."

"Lies in the game, how I entertain / The last lines of the next Kurt Cobain/ Standin' in the mirror with a 9 at my brain / Most rap guys wanna die for the fame."

"How much longer, will it linger? / Well my heart is giving, will they believe it? / When my song is over will they need me? / Watch how quickly they find a new leader / Questioning the whole meaning / In the Viper Room with just me and River Phoenix."
In October of 2010, beloved alternative star Kid Cudi told MTV, "I'm just over rapping. I don't get any fulfillment out of it anymore." As his fans anxiously digested the statement, they luckily weren't left hanging for too long. Just 12 days later, Cudi dropped his highly anticipated Man On The Moon II album.
"We independent, homie / We independent, boy / We indecendent, shawty / We independent, boy / We independent, baby. Them independent boys."
"Took the phone off the hook, ate multi-colored pills / Washed it down with Absolut and started writin' out my will."
