Between Lil Wayne’s alleged antics and producers coming at their necks for reported nonpayment, the lawyers for Cash Money Records stay with some work. This time CMR is facing legal actions for allegedly illegally using a sample on a 2010 Bow Wow track.

The lawsuit was recently filed by Robert Poindexter of the ‘70s singing group the Persuaders, according to reports by TMZ. He claims the label illegally used a snippet of the group's song, "Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out)" for Bow Wow's track "Still Ballin." Poindexter says neither party was given permission to sample the track.

He also claims he reached out to both Cash Money Records and Bow Wow’s lawyers without resolve. Hence the lawsuit. He is asking for $600,000 in damages plus interest.
