Rick Ross Beefs Up Security After Drive-By Shooting in Florida

Earlier this week, Rick Ross was involved in a drive-by shooting in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Rozay was in his Rolls-Royce with his girlfriend when a car pulled up and opened fire. Now, the MMG leader is taken the necessary precautions to stay protected.

TMZ has learned that Ross hired 24-hour armed personal security to watch over him. In the past, he would use security for public appearances, but now he wants full-time personnel.

A few hours after the shooting—which happened on his birthday—Ross released a new freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe.” Although he doesn’t sound too affected by the incident, sources say that it was an “eye opener” for him.
