Nas Says He's Already Recording His Next Studio Album

While many hip-hop heads are still praising Life is Good, Nas is already has his sights sets on another album.

During an interview with AP, Nas revealed that he’s begun work on his untitled 12th studio album. The “Daughters” rapper also says he’s in the right state of mind.

“Yes. It has started. I must tell you. I can’t stop now. I’m in a great zone,” he said.

In the end of the interview, Nas also speaks on his favorite albums of 2012. He lists specifically Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill has artists he’s been feeling lately.

“No disrespect to nobody else in rap music, but Kendrick Lamar. I’m really happy about his record. I needed that. His record reaches you. It gives you hope. …Also, Meek Mill. His energy is amazing,” he said.

    I agree. I loved Kendricks mAAd City album. I was a fan since overly dedicated, so I amazed to see the diversity with his Interscope release. Im not a huge Meek Mill fan, but I do have the album and the energy is pretty incredible.
