According to the Governors Ball official website, Kanye West will top a shockingly star-studded lineup for this year's Governor's Ball, a music festival held every year since 2011 and for the past two years at Randall's Island Park in New York City.

This will be Ye's first non-Watch the Throne headlining slot since 2008, excluding his back-to-back performances at Revel in Atlantic City at the end of the year.

Yeezy will join big-name acts from every end of the musical spectrum, from Nas, to the Avett Brothers, to the Kings of Leon.

The high-profile nature of the bill marks a noticeable improvement upon last year's festival, especially regarding the hip-hop offerings.

Other artists set to perform include Kendrick Lamar, Pretty Lights, Erykah Badu, and Freddie Gibbs.

The festival will take place over three days from June 7-9, 2013 in NYC. —Nick de Molina (@odmod)
