Happy 29th birthday, Kid Cudi!

Born in 1984, he quickly got attention when he released his mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, in 2008. That mixtape also included the single “Day ‘n’ Night,” which made the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

Since his debut, he hasn’t taken a breath. He started his own record label, was featured on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation, Cruel Summer, was spotted in the “Mercy” video, has acted (he was on “One Tree Hill” and HBO’s “How to Make it in America”), had a daughter, and put out three more albums.
