Young Jeezy is starting off his new position as Senior Vice President of A&R at Atlantic with a huge announcement. His CTE World imprint has signed with Atlantic.

The partnership will bring a commitment of “finding, developing and launching the careers of new talent on the worldwide platform.”

Recently, Freddie Gibbs confirmed his split between the CTE imprint. Jeezy responded with encouraging words. “Freddie is a talented artist and I decided that it's time to press reset on my career and business ventures. I have no doubt that Freddie will go on to be everything I believe he can be, and I wish him the best in his career."

The new CTE/Atlantic Records merger will operate under Jeezy’s direction with Atlantic Records chairman, Craig Kallman.—Eric Diep
