As an underground, viral movement known as Queen of the Ring—think Smack/URL but with women—has been in effect for years. The latest addition to the series, hosted by Babs Bunny (of <em>Making Da Band</em> fame) and Vague has been drawing online attention for more than a year, with names like Don Ladyii, Phara Funeral, and Shooney Da Rapper becoming staples. While some may dismiss the league as the WNBA to URL or Grind Time's NBA, the Queen of the Ring bouts are intense, brutal, and oftentimes ruthless.
