Last month, 50 Cent made it clear that he was a fan of Chief Keef.

“I like the idea of Chief Keef,” the Queens rapper said on The Ryan Cameron Show. “The same way I like the idea of Soulja Boy. ‘Cause I like the idea of someone having a hit at 16. He’s actually my son’s age. So without the success that I had, my son could have potentially been Chief Keef. When I look at the situations, I go, Wow, that’s what hip-hop culture is. It allows people to come from completely nothing to make it.”

Since then, the G-Unit general has taken his fondness of the young rapper to another level—inside the studio.

“I did a new joint tonight with @chiefkeef,” 50 revealed on his Twitter early Thursday morning (October 11). “He got some heat.”

This isn’t the first time ’Fif has reached out to Keef either. Following the September 4th murder of 18-year-old Chicago rapper, Lil JoJo, Keef tweeted out comments, seemingly mocking the slain MC’s death. Although Keef later claimed that his account was hacked, that didn’t stop 50 from reaching out to Keef and asking that he contact him.—Mark Lelinwalla
