Polo Grounds Music CEO Bryan Leach Pleads Guilty to Weapons Possession, Faces Two Years in Prison
It's not only rappers who get in trouble with the law.
Veteran music executive Bryan Leach pleaded guilty yesterday to attempted weapons possession in the second degree and will serve two years behind bars, according to the New York Post. The plea stems from a 2010 arrest where he was pulled over and police found a loaded gun in his car.
Leach has been a crucial player in the careers of Lil Jon, Pitbull and the Ying Yang Twins, and most recently made headlines for signing A$AP Rocky to a lucrative record deal in 2011. Earlier this year, Leach, the CEO of Polo Grounds Music, which he formed in 2006 with RCA Records, was included on Billboard's Urban Power List.
He will be sentenced on November 8. —Adam Fleischer (@AdamXXL)
