Nicki Minaj Responds to President Obama’s Thoughts on Her Mitt Romney Lyrics

This morning President Obama appeared on Orlando's Power 95.3 radio station, and commented on rapper Nicki Minaj's rap lines endorsing presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Regarding the Queens MC's bars on Lil Wayne's Dedication 4 track "Mercy," the president commented, "I’m not sure that’s actually what happened. I think she had a song on there. A little rap that said that, but she likes to play different characters.”

As a response, Nicki Minaj tweeted, "Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do... *sends love & support* @BarackObama," shutting down speculation that she endorses the Republican candidate. —Jaeki Cho (@JaeckiCho)
