T.I. Comments on Jeezy’s New Position as Senior VP of A&R

T.I. made a quick visit to Chicago’s The Morning Riot with Tony Scufield. During the interview, T.I.P. was asked about his colleague Young Jeezy’s new position as Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records, to which he replied, “That’s phenomenal for Young, man. I’ve known about it for quite some time now. He came and spoke to me, and asked me how I felt about it…” The Atlanta rapper also added that he doesn’t know if he “could necessarily do” what Jeezy will be doing, as he has various side projects on top of his music and label’s outputs. The rapper also spoke on his acting career, his rougher edges, and his upcoming album, Trouble Man. —XXL Staff
