Smoke DZA's SummerSlam Preview

DZA intro

Anyone who knows the Kushed God knows Smoke DZA is a professional wrestling aficionado. His latest album Rugby Thompson contains the tag team back and forth with Action Bronson entitled "Turnbuckle Music," and "4 Horsemen," samples the theme song of Ric Flair's original stable. If that wasn't enough the video for "New Jack," features the ECW wrestler himself. WWE's SummerSlam is this Sunday, headlined by a faceoff between Triple H and Brock Lesnar. We decided to catch up with DZA and get his picks for the highly anticipated Pay Per View event, so without further ado, here's Smoke DZA's SummerSlam preview. —Neil Martinez-Belkin (@Neil_MB)

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston (c) vs. The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil and Darren Young)

Smoke DZA: "R-Truth and Kofi Kingston definitely. The Prime Time Players just had their managers fired over that Kobe Bryant joke, so they can't let these guys win. R-Truth and Kofi will handle [their] business."

The Miz (c) vs. Rey Mysterio

Smoke DZA: "This is a tough one. Not really sure, but I'll go with Miz."

Kane vs. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan Kane

Smoke DZA: "Okay, I think Daniel Bryan wins cleanly, but then that crazy General Manager chick AJ comes in makes some sort of weird stipulation or rules it for Kane. She'll definitely have some role in what happens."

Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho Dolph

Smoke DZA: "Dolph wins cleanly. Yo, I think they’re ready for Dolph to turn over and make a championship run and I think Jericho's trying to take a break for a while."

Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio

Smoke DZA: "I hope Del Rio. I hate Sheamus! That was some bullshit at Wrestlemania when he won the title in like five seconds."

CM Punk (c) vs. Big Show vs. John Cena

Smoke DZA: "CM Punk retains. I think they want to have CM Punk face Rock at the Royal Rumble so then they can find a way to do Rock versus Cena again at Wrestlemania. I think CM Punk wins cleanly."

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

Smoke DZA: "Brock wins. I would like to see something where Sean Michaels gets involved and turns heel but I don't know. Brock will definitely win though. He can't go down 0-2 since coming back to the WWE."
